DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN UGANDA AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport our safari guide from African skimmer tours will be waiting to pick you and transfer you at booked lodge in Entebbe /Kampala and take the rest of the day until dinner and overnight after briefing of the trip.
DAY 2: PICK FROM PLACE OF ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
you will wake up early morning and have breakfast after you will be picked up by your drive guide and start your journey to western part of Uganda with en-route stop at Uganda equator line crossing for photo moments and explore the souvenir market around after you will proceed with the journey to lake Mburo national park reaching by lunch time and check in the booked lodge for lunch.
In the after you may decide to have evening game drive through the park or go for the boat cruise on Lake Mburo having a chance to explore wildlife in these park.
DAY 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON COMMUNITY VILLAGE VISIT
You will wake up morning with warm cup of coffee/tea and drive to explore wildlife in Lake Mburo national like large herds of zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, dikers, sitatunga, elands, olive baboons and many more, you later return to the lodge for full breakfast and relax until lunch.
In the evening you will walk to the community walk to learn more about this herdsmen culture and about their long horned cattle’s and participate in many activities. You later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 4: VISIT IGONGO CULTURAL CENTRE AND ANKOLE KINGDOM PALACE
You will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge and transfer to explore more about the Banyakore people and their culture by visiting the Ankole kingdom cultural museum in Igongo, you will spend some good time visiting and learning inside about the Ankole people and have lunch at Igongo country hotel.
In the afternoon you will visit the Ankole kingdom palace and Ankole royal tombs in Konkonjure in Mbarara town were you will have chance to explore of Ankole culture.later check-in to the booked hotel in Mbarara town for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
You will have early morning breakfast and check out of the hotel to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi passing through the beautiful sceneries of rolling hills and slopes of Kigezi reaching by lunch time, check in to the booked lodge and have lunch
In the afternoon you may participate in different activities on Lake Bunyonyi chosen according to your interest like Zip lining, Swimming, Canoeing, Boat cruise and community visits. You later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 6: TRANSFER TO LAKE MUTANDA AND AFTERNOON SUNDOWNER BOAT TRIP EXPLORING THE ISLAND
Today you will have early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Lake Mutanda in Kisoro reaching around morning and spend the rest of the day enjoying activities on the lake
DAY 7: GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING
Today you will have breakfast and transfer at the visitation center of Mgahinga national park for briefing by ranger guides of Uganda wildlife authority who leads you on your day’s activity. Golden tracking is only carried here in the Albertine region and their endemic to the region and it’s worth rewarding meeting with this beautiful and amazing primates.
DAY 8: BATWA TRAIL MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK
Today you will spend time with the Batwa people learning their culture taking you through different like demonstrating on how to make fire using wood, storytelling, entertainment with their cultural dances. The Batwa are the ancient pygmies who lived in this forest of Mgahinga and Bwindi before they were relocated to the edges of this forest and they survived through hunting and food gatherers in the forest.
DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE
Today you will have early morning breakfast and transfer to the briefing point of the park by ranger guides and after your amazing impenetrable forest to trek gorillas lead by ranger guides and the experience is really unforgettable meeting in close views with gentle apes feeding, grooming, playing and resting, upon encounter your only allowed to spend 1 hour and return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 10: TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL AND EVENING GAME DRIVE
You will have early morning breakfast and checkout of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park ishasha sector reaching by lunch time and check in to the booked lodge for lunch.
In the evening you will drive for the game in search of rare tree climbing lions. You will find this rare species up in fig trees resting if your luck and watching their predators. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 11: TRANSFER TO NORTHERN SECTOR OF QUEEN ELIZABETH WITH EN-ROUTE GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL
You will wake up early morning and have breakfast check out of the lodge and embark on the transfer to north sector of the park with en-route game drive searching the wildlife could have been on the previous evening game drive like leaopards,lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas,Uganda kobs, olivebaboons, hippos and many more are seen on your way reaching by midday and check in to hotel for relaxation until lunch.
In the afternoon you drive for the exciting activity the boat ride on Kazinga channel that has the largest schools of hippos in the world and over 58 bird species. The boat cruise will reward you with the views of wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck, elephants and buffaloes are seen on the bank during afternoon cooling of their bodies alongside water birds like pied kingfisher, little egrets, Egyptian geese, yellow and saddle billed stork, cormorants among others. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 12: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
You will have early morning relaxed breakfast and checkout of the lodge to transfer to Kibale national park with en-route game drive as you’re getting out of park drive through the region crater lakes and stop at the equator monument for photo moments later proceed to Kibale national park reaching by lunch time check in to the booked lodge relax until dinner and overnight
DAY 13: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING EXPERIENCE AND AFTERNOON COMMUNITY SWAMP WALK
Today you will wake up early in the morning with served breakfast and drive to the briefing point of Kibale forest national park in Kanyachu. After your briefing from ranger guides you will start your chimp search in the equatorial rain forest having chances to meet with over 10 primate species and over 455 forest bird species while on meeting with chimps your only allowed to stay for 1 hour and return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon you may decide to go for the community swamp walk that rewards with more primate watch and viewing of over 137 bird species including the Great Blue Turaco. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 14: TRANSFER TO HOIMA
After relaxed breakfast we check out of the lodge to transfer to further north to Hoima on Lake Albert. The journey takes you through the amazing views of banana plantations and many tea plantations, visit the Toro kingdom place and the Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru and later proceed to Hoima with en-route lunch reaching by evening check in to the booed lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 15: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Today you will early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to the must visit destination Murchison falls national park on reaching the park you will mini game viewing as you check in to the booked lodge for lunch
In the evening you will visit the top of falls the main attraction of this amazing destination and where the park derives its name. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 16: FULL DAY EXPLORE MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
You will wake up with warm cup of coffee/tea and transfer to look for wildlife in this savanna park and expect see giraffes, solitary cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, lions, hyenas, leopards, and many more after return to the lodge for full breakfast relax until lunch
In the afternoon you will driver for the boat cruise on upstream of river Nile up to the bottom of waterfalls. The boat is the ideal place to view and photograph moments bird species, hippos and crocodiles as you sail up close to the sores and islands
DAY 17: RELAXATION AT THE LODGE AND AFTERNOON DRIVE TO THE PARK TO ENJOY EVENING SUNSET
Today you will have relaxed breakfast and relax at the lodge until lunch and then spend your evening to Nyamasika plateu enjoying
DAY 18: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES
Today we still have early morning game drive in the ,wilderness as predators return to their dens, expect to see hyenas, lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes get back to the lodge and relax until evening game drive.
DAY 19: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Today you will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Kidepo valley national park in the north east of Uganda with en-route lunch in Gulu town and the amazing views of Aruu falls on away reaching Kidepo valley national park by evening check into the booked lodge for dinner.
DAY 20: FULLDAY’S EXPLORE KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Get up with warm cup of coffee/tea, then leave for a game drive throughout the area with adequate track or circuits. This enables us to view lots of animals at close range. Get back later for full breakfast and relax until lunch. In the evening go for another game viewing with superb view south of the park.
DAY 21: ANOTHER DAY FOR GAME DRIVE
Breakfast, game viewing along river Kidepo meet the sand river in the northern part of the park lined by Boraassus palms making it look like an Oasis in Sahara.
DAY 22: SPEND OUR MORNING AT THE LODGE AND AFTERNOON VISIT THE COMMUNITY
Today you will have relaxed breakfast and relax to at the lodge resting and enjoying the lodge facilities until lunch and then in the afternoon and evening spend it with the pastoral community of Karomojong families. You will have chance to experience the vibrant traditional dance of the karamojong and demonstration of other culture items.
DAY 23: TRANSFER TO MOROTO
Today you will have early morning breakfast and checkout of the lodge to transfer to Moroto. You have options of activities you can participate in hiking mount Morungole, community walks, culture hike to visit to Ik people who live on the mountain and then later transfer to Soroti to see shores of Lake Kyoga and the granite rock

DAY 24: TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS
Today we shall have relaxed breakfast check out of the lodge to transfer to visit the magnificent waterfalls found on the foothills of mountain Elgon. There are 3 water falls here, each flowing from different altitude we shall reach by lunch time and relax until dinner and overnight.
DAY 25: EXPLORE SIPI FALLS
Explore the sipi falls region to see the magnificent waterfalls found on the foothills of mount Elgon and then after your lunch visit the community Arabic coffee and interact with Sebei people
DAY 26: TRANSFER TO JINJA
Today we drive through the Mbale town and up hilly Kapchorwa to Jinja, we visit the source of Nile where we take walk along the Nile and then afternoon you can participate in different activities of your choice on river Nile like , quad biking, bungee jumping, tubing , white water rafting, boat cruise, horse riding and many more
Dinner and overnight at booked place of accommodation in Jinja.
DAY 27: MORNING RELAXATION AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
Wake up leisurely to breakfast and relaxation and then tour around the Jinja city come lunch at the hotel and afternoon transfers to Kampala pass through the amazing Mabira forest along the way and stop visit at Sezibwa falls in Lugazi -Buikwe district. After you will proceed to Kampala checking in the booked lodge in Kampala or Entebbe for dinner and overnight.
DAY 28: TRANSFER TO MABAMBA SWAMP AND AIRPORT TRANSFER FOR DEPARTURE FLIGHT
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and drive throughout the dirt road or cross via Nakiwongo landing site and then drive to dirt road for 20 minutes and spend some time in the wetland looking for the beautiful shoebill stork and later return to the hotel for lunch and wait for your departure flight to transfer back to Entebbe international airport for departure flight.
